Also.., can you take as many as you like or is it limited? I'd appreciate answers from people who've actually tried it.

You'll probably get a mix of advice, but I take surveys and they can pay anywhere from $1-20.00, depending on the survey. I did the research before I started taking them, and you want to make sure that the survey sites you sign up for are legit, so if they ever ask you for money, you know they are not. And months after I started doing the legit ones, I saw a couple questions like yours with links to survey sites that pay up to $150.00, and I followed the link and signed up and basically all I got was an inbox full of spam! They promised all kinds of freebies and high pay for their surveys, but you have to give credit card information and I drew the line at that. So, I really don't know about getting paid that much because I didn't give them my credit card #. The more information you give these sites about your personal profiles the better and more surveys you will receive. Good luck.

I have tried paid surveys and while you can't make a living you can make a little bit of money now and then - I think I have made $25 all up LOL.
