Can someone really make money from filling out surveys?

I have heard and read about them in Seventeen magazine. Here are some questions I have:


1. What are the best (and safest) sites?


2. Do you ever have to pay anything?

Can someone really make money from filling out surveys?
A lot of them are scams, so be really careful. A real market research survey company will never ever charge you a dime.

I've been paid by all of these and I know for a fact that they won't ever charge you anything or scam you.


I usually make around $10-$50 per month from each site.

Reply:There are hundreds of survey sites available, but you have to avoid the ones that are scams. Don't waste your time on any sites that require you to sign up for "special offers" before completing surveys. Also you should NEVER have to provide credit card information or make any payments to sign up to complete surveys. Reply:There are several survey sites that are legit, your not going to get rich doing them though. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several. I have done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete also. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. Pinecone is also great. You have to have an invitation to join though. They send one or two surveys a month. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don't check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto. Surveyspot has tons of really short surveys most of which you only get an entry into a drawing. However they do have many paid surveys also. You can just go to their site everyday and answer surveys you don't have to wait for them to be emailed to you. They do some previewing of tv commercials and tv shows. I have done a couple tv shows which involved watching an hour long program (45 minutes without commercials) and answering some questions about it - with payment of $20 so that was nice.





Most pay a few dollars per survey completed so it is best to use several. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don't respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota.

Some websites will ask you to pay for a list of survey companies. Do Not do this. There are several sites that will give you the list for free.

Reply:The only people who make money are the ones that sell you the information. I made $8 last month (wow). Not really worth it. Check my profile, I have a link in there for W.A. If you had ever thought about doing affiliate marketing of any type online (and you can make a ton of money doing it), this site gives you every single piece of information you will ever need, how to find a niche, how to promote it, they have free web hosting, a website builder and so much more. The developers of the site are also coming out with something new this Tuesday that the entire membership is pumped about... I can't wait to find out for myself. There is a monthly fee for signing up, but I can tell you it is WELL worth it.

You will have to work hard and think positive to earn some money. If you have the ability then you can earn a lot with so many adventures. Why do not you try to become a program tester. I am testing different programs these days and earning a handsome money, These programs will not make you rich over night. But you will be able to earn a handsome amount near about 50-100 USD weekly. I have just started this work and is earning a good amount. But Again why a company will provide you their programs to test free of cost due to the risk of piracy. So they charge a little amount for example half of the cost. You should start from a little venture. I am a stay at home mom and with two kids. I have registered with some of the survey sites, which are free. Other than these works all require upfront fee, which I hate.
