What kind of surveys need to be done for a new construction home?

What are the types of surveys that need to be prepared and the order in which they need to be prepared for building a new home. I know there is an as built and a vacant lot survey but what other surveys are typically done and can you please tell me the order in which they are prepared? Thanks|||Most cities have a requirement as to how close you can build to the property line. These are called set backs. You will probably need a survey to be sure your set back dimensions are correct.

You may also need a topographical survey to establish grade and assure the foundation is set at the proper elevation.

If the lot is sloped, you may also need a survey to get the drainage correct.
