Do paid surveys really work on the internet?

A lot of sites are seen on the internet which claim to pay huge amounts of money for doing surveys or simply reading E mails. Does it really work?

Do paid surveys really work on the internet?
Yes, there are legitimate survey groups on the Internet, but they do not need to advertise extensively. In my experience you will answer 2-3 unpaid surveys from a firm for every paid one. The best way to be part of such a survey is through magazines you may already subscribe to (Wired, PC Week, Conde Nast, etc.) or through local paid survey ads in the local papers (who also usually do online surveys or forward your info to people who do).

  1. I make $20 for completing a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying me for. They need to know what their customer base needs and wants. So large companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars every month to the average person. In return, the average person, like me and you, participates in surveys and gives them their opinion.
