I see a lot of things saying "fill out surveys, and companies will pay you for that"...can that be legit? Are there any real sites that do this? And for the fake ones...what is their goal? To scam you?
Can you really get paid to fill out surveys online?
They are almost 100% scams. They run them for a variety of reasons from "phising" to just making sure that your email address is active or for selling your data to others so that they can fill up your inbox with more spam. ANY email that offers to pay you almost certainly falls into that category. Just delete them because they are worthless. I hate what the internet has become in regards to spam and scams.

Reply:yeh apparently they work... i had a question sort of regarding that and people had given me websites saying that the sites they gave me are legit.
i'm still a bit skeptical because i dont like the idea of them sending cheques to my home address.
the fake ones.. well yeh to scam you. they want to make money. but i assume with the legit ones companies pay them to get people to answer market surveys - so either way they still make a profit and thats why they have the ability to pay the people who do the surveys.
