Some websites offer listings of paid marketing surveys as a way to make money online ... are they for real?

I'm looking for a way to make a little extra money online.





I found several websites that offer "updated/ current" listings of market research companies that will pay for completed product surveys and participation in focus groups.





These sites cost about fifty bucks ,one time, to become a member, is it worth it? Can I really make some money, or is it just a scam?





Please answer if you have experience in this area, and let me know the pros and cons and details. If this is a real possibility then pls tell me the most reputable/reliable website to join.

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.





Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.





Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Reply:I paid for mine and started doing the surveys and I have still never seen a dime. Don't get sucked in these sites are scams.
Reply:survey site is a place advertiser put their advertisement for lower cost of advertising. it is like you voluntarily ask for ads to step in front of you while you are sacrificing your time. and for what? people can't make much money from their own survey. they can only make good money from other people's survey just MLM you make money out of other people. don't you wonder why should people sell list of a survey companies. have you seen any body sell a list of sites like amazon, ebay, best buys? definitely not. why? because real establish sites can be found easily. so if it is hard to find don't you think it could never exist. if you understand human behavior you know why all this exist.
