Are there any legitimate pay for reading surveys and email sites?

I'm just trying to make a litter extra money and I'm hearing about these companies that will pay you for taking surveys and reading emails. I know many are scams but I'm hearing that there are a few out there that actually pay a nice little handfull. Of course the ones that say get $2,000 in a hour are scams and I'm not looking for a get rich quick thing; just a little side money that's easy. I don't want the ones that you have to pay for to sign up because I just know that's a scam too. If anyone knows of any or are using them, can you please tell me? (Sorry if this might be in the wrong category. I really don't know what you would consider this kind of question.)

Reply:There are quite a few good survey and email sites. Like you say, the ones that say they pay thousands are complete scams and never pay. However, you can make some good extra money from surveys, emails and more.
